In 2017, Dessia was born from a passion for engineering and innovation.
The foundation of Dessia is deeply rooted in a vision to transform the engineering landscape, where the idea for a new kind of solution first took shape. Initially, the goal was clear: create a universal engineering language for designing powertrain transmissions. Our first significant success came through a Master's thesis project at Stellantis, where we pioneered a new approach to manual gearbox architecture.
This vision quickly grew beyond its original scope, evolving into a comprehensive web platform designed to centralize engineering expertise and incorporate AI-driven automation. This marked the start of our journey to transform design engineering processes through artificial intelligence and automation.

Today, Dessia stands as a thriving company dedicated to empowering engineers with cutting-edge technology. Our low-code platform enables engineers to organize and use their expertise with intelligent AI-apps that significantly reduce time-to-design—by up to 80%
With headquarters in Antony, Dessia employs around 35 highly skilled professionals. A significant part of our work is dedicated to R&D, continuously improving our platform and pushing the boundaries of engineering innovation. Backed by leading technology and engineering investors ( Capital ventures, and corporate ventures) , we collaborate with major industrial clients to drive the digital transformation of engineering processes.
